Meet The Team

Sally founded Norton Tax Shops (NTS) in 2000. Sally is a taxation specialist and a Chartered Taxation Advisor (CTA) with over 35 years’ experience within the HMRC and private practice. Sally has created a friendly, well trained, and motivated team with the correct skills and facilities to provide clients with the best advice and support. Sally personally specialises in planning to avoid tax of all types; she is currently helping many clients with capital gains tax especially upon the sale of residential property. Her professional training and qualifications, complimented by her experience as a landlord and business owner, allows her to optimise the help she offers.

Mark joined NTS in 2001, when he joined as a trainee accountant, working his way up to his current role as our Accounts Manager.

Mark is a Fellow of the AAT and has over 20 years experience in practice covering all areas of accountancy, VAT, taxation, cashflow and business management, and this gives him the skills to work closely with clients and offer client specific bespoke advice. Mark invests a great deal of time in getting to know our clients and their businesses so that our services can be tailored to meet their specific needs and requirements. Business owners can be confident that Mark will not only understand the situation but be able to offer the optimal solution. Mark enjoys being pro-active with clients, identifying areas to help them grow, be as tax efficient as possible and increase overall profitability.

Carly joined Norton Tax Shops as a trainee in 2006. She qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2019 and prior to this gained the AAT qualification. Over the years Carly has developed an in depth knowledge of accounts and Tax Return preparation for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies. She prepares both annual and management accounts for businesses and also advises clients on vat and tax issues.

Jon has been with the company since 2013, joining as a trainee. During his career with NTS, Jon has progressed to become a member of the AAT and is currently carrying out his ACCA qualification. His duties include preparation of annual and management accounts for businesses, advice on various company secretarial, VAT and tax issues as well as training clients to use accounting software packages.

Away from the office, Jon enjoys spending time with his fiance Chelsea and is looking forward to welcoming their baby daughter into the world who is due in June.

Mark joined NTS in 2022. Mark is an ACCA qualified accountant with many years of experience working with small businesses and taxation for private individuals. Having previously run his own practice Mark is experienced in all areas of taxation and accountancy. Mark enjoys getting to know clients and is adept at helping clients to implement accounting software packages and systems to suit their needs.

Kim has been with the company for 14 years. Kim concentrates on the preparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns and accounts for sole traders and property owners.

Szymon joined the Norton Tax Shops team in September 2018. He has since completed his level 4 AAT qualification. His day-to-day duties include bookkeeping towards, as well as the preparation of VAT returns, limited company accounts and sole trader tax returns.

Rhiannon joined NTS in 2005, she is responsible for the company’s credit control and ensures our clients statutory accounts and tax returns are all submitted on time.

Becky joined NTS in December 2002. She is the very friendly front-desk face of the company and is usually the person you will speak to first when contacting NTS. Becky is very much a people person and enjoys meeting and greeting clients to the company.

Ed began working for NTS in April 2022 as an Accounts Trainee. Since then, he has passed his level 3 AAT exams and has started studying his level 4. Ed’s duties include preparation of VAT returns, tax returns, assisting with accounts and Bookkeeping.
